Chief Operating Officer Retires After 46 Years

After 46 years of service, Cristina L. “Cris” Perez will retire from Su Clinica on October 30.

Cris began her career in our Social Work Department in January 1980. She became department supervisor in 1993, Harlingen Clinic Manager in 2001, and Chief Operations Officer in 2016. Across those roles, she has helped Su Clinica grow while keeping patients and our community at the center of the work. As Clinic Manager and COO, Cris guided our clinic operations, supported staff development, improved how we serve our patients, and helped bring new facilities to life. Her knowledge of Su Clinica, its people, its history, and the communities we serve, reflect a career devoted to this organization.

Forty-six years is an extraordinary commitment. We are grateful for all Cris has given to Su Clinica and for the many people she has worked alongside and supported over the years. Please join us in thanking her and wishing her a wonderful retirement.
